- What is the minimum manufacturer's warranty required?
-
As you may know, the manufacturer's warranty is the promise of your electronic, appliance or computer manufacturer to repair or replace your product for a specified period of time if it breaks as result of a defect. Most electronic products have a manufacturer's warranty of at least 90 days. Most appliance and computer products have manufacturer's warranties of one year. Check your product's owner manual for specific manufacturer warranty terms and conditions.
Under an Extended Service Plan purchased through GreenUmbrella.com, in order for the product to be eligible for coverage, the item must have the following minimum manufacturer's warranty:
- If the product was purchased prior to the date you first signed up for an Extended Service Plan through GreenUmbrella.com, then the product must have a minimum manufacturer's warranty of at least one year;

The original purchase price does not include the sales taxes, shipping, delivery or installation charges that you may have incurred in connection with your purchase.
- Does it matter where I buy something?
